RUSTON - Louisiana Tech's Fall World Series games final two games are scheduled to begin on Friday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. at J.C. Love Field.
The Grey team has won the first three games, holding the Black team to a .189 batting average.
Game one featured Grey team's Jeb Stefan and Caleb Dudley combining to pitch a three hit shutout against the Black team. Kyle Arnsberg hit a two-run home run in game one. On the Black team, Colby Johnson recorded two singles.
Jamie Gilley started game two for the Black team and allowed one hit over five innings, striking out five. However, the Grey squad scored five runs in the sixth to take the lead. The big blow came off the bat of Ryan Jones, who hit a huge two RBI triple.
Captain Alex Williams singled in two runs for the Grey team in game three. Nathan Chambers allowed two hits on one run in five innings for the win. Caleb Dudley pitched a perfect seventh for the save. Sam Alvis homered for the Black team's only run.
Stephen Gandy leads all Tech players with a .556 batting average and five hits.
Ryan Gebhardt leads the Black team with a .444 batting average. Pitchers Ben Carlisle and Jamie Gilley each have pitched five scoreless innings, striking out five. Gilley is holding opponents to a .063 batting average.
