Segui Inaugural Member of KC Community College Hall of Fame

KANSAS CITY - Former Louisiana Tech baseball standout David Segui is one of five inaugural members of the Kansas City Kansas Community College Sports Hall of Fame that will be inducted Saturday afternoon between games of KCKCC's basketball doubleheader with Cowley County.

Segui spent one season at Louisiana Tech where he was named to the 1987 all-Southland Conference team after hitting at a .383 clip which ranks as the all-time career mark at Tech. The standout first baseman was drafted in the 18th round by the Baltimore Orioles in the 1987 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft and spent his 15-year baseball career with seven different clubs.
