Kerry Rupp Basketball Team Camp
Thank you for your interest in the 2008 Kerry Rupp Basketball Team Camp. It is our goal every summer to have the best team camp in the country and we appreciate your interest and support.
All of camp registration materials you need are in this packet. Team Camp Registration MUST be done through your team's head coach. All registration materials MUST be sent in TOGETHER in one envelope. The deadline to sign up for the camp is June 10, 2008. However, interested teams need to contact Cody Fueger at 318 257-4111 as soon as possible to reserve a spot in camp and to help us plan accordingly. A $50 NON-refundable deposit for each player on your team is June 10, 2008. Deposits must be in cash, money order, or cashier's check only. No personal, school, or AAU Checks will be accepted.
Registration at camp will be approximately 2pm to 4pm on Thursday June 19, 2008. The camp will start at 5 pm following a coaches meeting at 4 pm. The camp will end on Saturday, June 21 at approximately 2 pm.
Teams are guaranteed at least six games and the "2 minute tournament" through the course of the weekend. Each game will have two officials and a scorekeeper. The "2 minute tournament" is a time & score situation tournament that will be held on Saturday evening or afternoon.
We will have three divisions of teams at the camp...1) large school varsity, 2) small school varsity, & 3) junior varsity. We will do our best to provide a highly competitive schedule for your team according to the information you provide us about your team.
Local hotel accommodations are available for teams who will be staying overnight in Ruston during team camp. Blocks of rooms have been reserved at several select hotels at a special team camp rate. Each team will be responsible for securing there own reservations.
Schools may bring as many teams as they choose. Teams are required to have at least 8 players on each team. Players may not move from a varsity team to a junior varsity team (or vice versa) during camp unless it is approved by the Louisiana Tech Coaching Staff prior to camp.
