Opening Statement:

"It was such a contrast of our game Thursday night. It was an up and down game. We needed to outscore them because we had a hard time stopping them. We were really concerned about their three-point shooting. We were able to make them shoot a lower percentage than they are used to, but their offensive rebounding is a different thing. They play such a unique style with those four guards, they were a tough cover. I am really proud of our guys for sticking with each other. We got behind early, but made enough plays to come away with a win at the end."

On difference between tonight and Thursday:

"It was a game played in the paint the other night. This game was fast. I think when the game began; our guys were a little surprised at how fast Charlotte was running. Once we caught up, we started to run fast. Dayon Griffin's performance tonight was incredible. I am very happy for him, because he has spent a ton of time before and after practice shooting the basketball. He was ready tonight."

On Dayon being the third scorer:

"We need scoring and so much of it is possessions. We had some other guys score the ball the other night. This was such a high possession game, we needed a certain amount of points, whether they come from three guys, four guys or five guys, we always want that balance. With the way the game flows, sometimes it just ends in certain guys' hands and they make the shot. That is what we need. We need each guy to feel ready to make baskets. We need that type of balance."

On Dayon:

"You are always looking for guys who are having that type of night. You want to keep them in the game. It is not just about scoring. Some guys have great rebounding nights or great defensive nights. They just seem to be locked in, in a different way. We do not want to bring those guys off the floor. Dayon played 41 minutes tonight; he was tough to take off the floor."

On final shot in regulation:

"I was surprised with his shot. I trust Alex, that is all I can say. We spread the floor and had him make the decision. If he felt like there was a seam to drive, then he would drive. I trust him with the ball in his hands, to make the best decision."

On slow start:

"In the first half we started a little slow, surprised at just how fast they went. You cannot absolutely exhaust the guys and simulate that on Friday. We went to a four guard lineup for a good bit in the first half. They went zone and we were able to get into the middle of that zone and make some shots. Once we got into a rhythm, we felt like things were going well and we wanted to keep capitalizing."

On offensive philosophy:

"This is who we are. We are a team with some multifaceted, versatile guys. We want to spread the floor. We want to attack the paint with the dribble. We want to be able to make open three point shots. We have several guys that can do that. We are not going to change who we are. We have had some success with that this season. We want to shoot the basketball every day. We shot the ball an awful lot on Friday and then went over the game plan for Charlotte."
