Louisiana Tech vs. Seattle Jan. 19, 2013 Game Notes With the 78-71 victory, LA Tech now leads the all-times series over Seattle 2-1. LA Tech extends their winning streak to eight games, only the 18th time in Bulldog history to be done, and improves to 16-3 on the season. Seattle falls to 6-11. LA Tech stays atop the WAC standings with a perfect record of 7-0. Seattle drops to 1-6 in WAC play. The Bulldogs extended their home-winning streak to 12 games. LA Tech starters were Michale Kyser, Brandon Gibson, Raheem Appleby, Kenneth Smith and Cordarius Johnson. With three blocks on the night, Michale Kyser ties Magnum Rolle (2008-10) for fourth place all-time in career blocks with 123. Jaron Johnson registered new career-highs in scoring (15) and rebounding (eight). J.L. Lewis had a season-high five rebounds in 20 minutes of action off the bench. The Bulldog defense forced 24 turnovers by Seattle. It marks the eighth time this season they have forced at least 20 by their opponent. The Bulldog bench scored a season-high 60 points (out of 78). LA Tech had 40 free throw attempts, the most since they shot 41 versus Idaho on Feb. 9, 2008.
