RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech (17-4, 5-1 C-USA) defeated Marshall (7-14, 1-5 C-USA), 98-77, Saturday night in Conference USA play at the Thomas Assembly Center.

• Louisiana Tech is now 4-0 versus Marshall in the all-time series.

• The announced attendance for tonight's game was 7,355, which ranks fourth all-time in Bulldog Basketball history.

• Louisiana Tech is now 9-1 in home games this season.

• Louisiana Tech has now won eight straight home games.

• Starters for LA Tech: Alex Hamilton, Isaiah Massey, Kenneth Smith, Chris Anderson, Cordarius Johnson. The Bulldogs are now 1-0 on the season with this lineup.

• With 17 total points and 13 assists, Kenneth Smith recorded the second double-double of the season and his career.

• After tying a season-high for assists with 13 vs. the Thundering Herd, Kenneth Smith has now recorded at least 10 assists in a game five times this season. Smith is currently fifth all-time in career assists in LA Tech history with a total of 461 assists. Smith also tied for third all-time in Bulldog history for assists in a game with 13 against Marshall.

Kenneth Smith totaled a season-high six steals tonight vs. Marshall, which moves him up on the all-time career steals list in Bulldog history. Smith currently has 149 career steals, which ranks sixth in program history, one shy of Karl Malone (1982-85) in fifth place.

• After a win tonight, the Bulldogs are 16-0 on the season when leading or tied at halftime. Tonight versus the Thundering Herd, LA Tech led 57-39 at the half.

• After forcing 22 Marshall turnovers, LA Tech is now 16-0 on the year when forcing 15 or more turnovers in a game. This is the fourth time this season LA Tech has forced at least 20 turnovers in a game.

• Tonight is the 22nd game since Michael White has been the head coach that the Bulldogs have forced at least 20 turnovers in a game.

• After totaling 24 points, tonight marks the sixth time in his career that Alex Hamilton has scored at least 20 points in a game. This is the fifth time this season the sophomore has hit 20 points.

• With a 21-point victory tonight, 12 of the Bulldogs' 17 wins this season have been by 20 points or more.

Stojan Gjuroski had a career-high six rebounds tonight versus the Thundering Herd. Gjuroski also had three points and one steal on the night.

• 2nd career double-double for Speedy

• In six conference games, Kenneth Smith has averaged 10.0 assists per game, which is a league-high.

• With 57 points in first half, tonight marks the seventh time this season the Bulldogs have scored at least 50 in a half.

Kenyon McNeail's 22 points tonight is a season-high for the senior guard.
