• With the 89-79 victory, Louisiana Tech now leads the all-time series over Central Michigan, 2-0.

• LA Tech improved to 26-8 on the season, advancing to the second round of the National Invitation Tournament for the third straight season, a first since 1984-86.

• LA Tech extended its home winning streak to 30, the fourth longest active streak in the country.

• LA Tech has now won 49 of the last 50 games at home dating back to February of 2012. The .980 winning percentage is the highest in the country over that span.

• The win was No. 100 for head coach Michael White. He became just the 11th head coach to ever reach 100 wins in his first four seasons.

• LA Tech is now 12-1 all-time versus current members of the Mid-American Conference and a perfect 5-0 at home.

• LA Tech is now 11-8 in this being the ninth appearance in the National Invitation Tournament.

• LA Tech is a perfect 5-0 at home in NIT games.

• The 89 total points was the second most scored by the Bulldogs this season and the most at home. It was also the second most scored by the `Dogs in an NIT game.

• The Bulldogs shot a season-best 57 percent from the field (33-of-58).

• The Bulldogs shot a season-best 58 percent from beyond the arc (11-of-19).

• The Bulldogs outrebounded their opponent for just the seventh time this season (+8 margin). The 11 made three-pointers was a new NIT high for the Bulldogs.

• The 20 assists were the second most ever in an NIT game for LA Tech.

• The six blocks were the second most ever in an NIT game for LA Tech.

Alex Hamilton and Raheem Appleby have combined to score 1,026 points this season. They are the eighth highest scoring duo in program history.

• LA Tech had six slams on the night, bringing its season total to 135 dunks.

• The Bulldog bench scored 43 points, the most this season in a single game. The previous high was 39 points scored versus Presbyterian.

• LA Tech starting lineup - Alex Hamilton, Michale Kyser, Erik McCree, Raheem Appleby and Kenneth Smith.

• Speedy made his team-leading 116th straight of his career.

• Hamilton made his 73rd consecutive start as a Bulldog.

• Appleby scored a game-high 22 points. It marked the eighth time this season he has scored at least 20 in a single game.

Jacobi Boykins poured in a career-high 18 points, including a perfect 4-of-4 from beyond the arc.

• Speedy registered a season-high 13 assists which is also a new NIT record for the Bulldogs.

• Speedy also had a game-high eight rebounds. It's the sixth time this season he has led the team in rebounding.
