With the 70-52 win, LA Tech now leads the all-time series 26-13.

The Bulldogs moved to 1-1 on the season. The win extended Louisiana Tech's winning streak in non-conference games at the Thomas Assembly Center to 21-0 dating back to December of 2007.

Under coach White, LA Tech is now a perfect 8-0 when holding their opponent to 60 points or less.

Tonight's starters for the Bullddogs were Cordarius Johnson, Michale Kyser, Brandon Gibson, Raheem Appleby and Kenneth Smith.

The Bulldogs held the Trojans to just six points during the first 13 minutes and 45 seconds of action, building a 23-6 lead.

The Bulldogs held the Trojans to just 20 points in the first half, leading 35-20 at the break.

Cordarius Johnson tallied a game-high 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting, including two three-pointers.

Kenneth `Speedy' Smith registered a career-high six steals on the night, tying him for fourth all-time in steals in a single game with eight other Bulldog players.

Gilbert Talbot saw his first career action and scored his first career bucket as a Bulldog, ending the night with six points and four rebounds.

Walk-ons JD Wilkerson and Demario Johnson saw their first career action as a Bulldog.
