Louisiana Tech vs. Louisiana-Monroe Nov. 24, 2012 Game Notes

With the win, Louisiana Tech now leads the all-time series 51-36 and is on a five-game winning streak versus Louisiana-Monroe.

Louisiana Tech improves to 5-1 having won five straight games. ULM drops to 0-2 on the season.

Bulldogs starters were Michale Kyser, Kenneth Smith, Raheem Appleby, Brandon Gibson and Cordarius Johnson.

Cordarius Johnson made five three-pointers, giving him 95 for his career which moves him into 10th place all-time in made three-pointers passing DeAndre Brown who had 91 from 2009-11.

Cordarius Johnson's five three-pointers was a career-high for him. His previous high was four in a single game. His eight made field goals tied a career-high which he also did last season at New Mexico State on Feb. 4, 2012.

Cordarius Johnson matched his career-high in points with 23. He scored 23 last season in the 94-93 double overtime win over Northwestern State last season on Dec. 6, 2011.

Raheem Appleby scored 18 on the night, giving him his 27th double-digit scoring game in his last 33 games.

J.L. Lewis scored three points on the night, his first points of the season.

Bulldogs went on a 21-0 run in the second half. The Warhawks went scoreless from the 17:46 mark to 9:49.

The Bulldog defense forced 22 turnovers, the second time this season they have forced at least 20 in a game.
