Louisiana Tech at Georgia State Nov. 30, 2012 Game Notes With the 86-68 win, Louisiana Tech now leads the all-times series 5-0 over Georgia State. The Bulldogs are now 7-1 on the season and riding a seven-game winning streak. With the victory, this is only the second time in the last 20 years that LA Tech has started the season 7-1. The Panthers fall to 3-4 on the season. LA Tech starters were Michale Kyser, Brandon Gibson, Raheem Appleby, Kenneth Smith and Cordarius Johnson. Bulldogs were down 14-7 at the 12:20 mark in the first half, but the Bulldogs finished the half on a 34-16 run to lead at halftime 44-30. LA Tech shot 54 percent from the field, the second straight game they have shot at least 50 percent. Of the 32 field goals made, 21 came off of assists. Raheem Appleby had a career-high 34 points on 14-of-19 shooting. The 14 made field goals was also a career-high. Kenneth Smith had a season-high 15 points with 13 of those coming in the second half. Michale Kyser had five blocks tying his season-high. Brandon Gibson had a game-high nine rebounds.
Cordarius Johnson made four three-pointers, all coming in the first half.
