Louisiana Tech at Northwestern State Dec. 4, 2012 Game Notes With the 89-83 loss, LA Tech now leads the all-time series 77-64 over Northwestern State. The Bulldogs seven-game winning streak ended, dropping them to 7-2 on the year. The Demons ended their three-game skid and are now 4-3. LA Tech starters were Cordarius Johnson, Kenneth Smith, Raheem Appleby, Brandon Gibson and Michale Kyser. LA Tech shot the basketball 84 times on the night, the most attempted field goals since Dec. 7, 1992 when they had 83 attempts versus Wyoming. Michale Kyser grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds, including 10 that were offensive. This marked the first time this season that a Bulldog player has gotten double digit rebounds in a single game. Raheem Appleby and Kenneth Smith led the team with 17 points apiece. Alex Hamilton had a career night as a freshman, scoring 16 points on 6-of-13 shooting in only 20 minutes of action off the bench.
