Louisiana Tech vs. Southern Miss Dec. 8, 2012 Game Notes

• With the 65-55 win by Louisiana Tech, Southern Miss now leads the all-times series 41-29.

• LA Tech is now on a 30-game non-conference winning streak inside the Thomas Assembly Center.

• LA Tech starters were Michale Kyser, Brandon Gibson, Raheem Appleby, Brandon Gibson and Cordarius Johnson. This starting lineup has been the same in all 10 games this season.

• LA Tech bench combined to score 32 of the team's 65 total points.

• Bulldog defense forced seven turnovers in the first four minutes of play, and 23 turnovers for the entire game.

• Southern Miss scored their first field goal at the 13:37 mark of the first half.

J.L. Lewis had a season-high eight points and four rebounds.

Kenyon McNeail had a season-high 18 points to lead the Bulldogs in scoring.

Kenneth Smith recorded seven steals, a new career-high. It also tied the LA Tech record with Wayne Smith, Willie Bland and Mike McConathy for most steals in a single game.

• The 23 points allowed in the first half to the Golden Eagles was the fewest scored by USM this season.

• The Bulldogs led 24-23 at halftime, making them 7-0 this season when leading at the break.
