• With the 80-72 loss to McNeese State, Louisiana Tech now leads the all-time series 54-39 over the Cowboys.

• The Bulldogs fall to 8-3 on the season. The Cowboys improve to 5-3, increasing their current winning streak to four.

• Louisiana Tech starters were Michale Kyser, Brandon Gibson, Raheem Appleby, Kenneth Smith and Cordarius Johnson for the 11th game in a row.

• This was the first loss of the season when the Bulldogs had the lead going into halftime. They were previously 7-0.

• There was a 23-minute delay in the game due to a lighting issue.

J.L. Lewis came off the bench to score a team-high 14 points which was also a season-high for the senior.

Michale Kyser recorded his first career double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.

Michale Kyser blocked four shots on the night. He has now blocked at least two shots in 10 of the 11 games played this season.
