Louisiana Tech at UALR Dec. 17, 2012 Game Notes
With the 75-73 win, the Bulldogs now lead the all-time series over the Trojans 27-13.
After losing their previous two road games, the Bulldogs got the road win at UALR to move to 9-3 on the season. The Trojans fell to 8-5 and had their perfect 7-0 home winning streak snapped.
LA Tech starters were Michale Kyser, Raheem Appleby, Kenneth Smith, Chris Anderson and Cordarius Johnson. This was the first starting lineup change this season as Chris Anderson made his first career start for the Bulldogs.
With one three-pointer made, Cordarius Johnson now has 103 made three-pointers in his career which moved him into ninth place all-time for the Bulldogs.
LA Tech shot 26-of-36 from the free throw line, both season-highs.
Guard Raheem Appleby scored a game-high 17 points, 14 of which came in the first half.
Guard Alex Hamilton chipped in 14 points despite only playing 13 minutes and fouling out midway through the second half.
Forward Michale Kyser grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds. He now has grabbed double-digit rebounds in three of his last four games.
UALR was led in scoring by guard John Gillon who had 15 points.
