Louisiana Tech vs. Denver Dec. 29, 2012 Game Notes

• With the 68-60 victory, Louisiana Tech now leads the all-time series over Denver, 3-1.

• LA Tech improved to 10-3 on the year while Denver fell to 4-7. The Bulldogs remained a perfect 5-0 at home this season while Denver fell to 0-5 in road games.

• LA Tech starters were Michale Kyser, Brandon Gibson, Raheem Appleby, Kenneth Smith and Cordarius Johnson.

• The Pioneers averaged only 12.3 turnovers per game, but the Bulldogs were able to force 17 in tonight's contest.

• Six different Bulldogs had at least eight points, led by guard Raheem Appleby who had 12 on 5-of-13 shooting.

• Appleby's double-digit performance was the 10th time out of the 13 games this season he has done so.

• Forward Michale Kyser ended the game with three blocks. It's the 11th time out of 13 games this season he has had at least two in a game.

• Denver led the WAC in free throw percentage coming into the game, but shot only 10-of-17 from the free throw line for 58.8 percent.

• Denver's Royce O'Neale led all scorers with 18 points.
