Louisiana Tech vs. Denver Dec. 29, 2012 Game Notes With the 68-60 victory, Louisiana Tech now leads the all-time series over Denver, 3-1. LA Tech improved to 10-3 on the year while Denver fell to 4-7. The Bulldogs remained a perfect 5-0 at home this season while Denver fell to 0-5 in road games. LA Tech starters were Michale Kyser, Brandon Gibson, Raheem Appleby, Kenneth Smith and Cordarius Johnson. The Pioneers averaged only 12.3 turnovers per game, but the Bulldogs were able to force 17 in tonight's contest. Six different Bulldogs had at least eight points, led by guard Raheem Appleby who had 12 on 5-of-13 shooting. Appleby's double-digit performance was the 10th time out of the 13 games this season he has done so. Forward Michale Kyser ended the game with three blocks. It's the 11th time out of 13 games this season he has had at least two in a game. Denver led the WAC in free throw percentage coming into the game, but shot only 10-of-17 from the free throw line for 58.8 percent. Denver's Royce O'Neale led all scorers with 18 points.
