Inside Tech Basketball Continues on Monday
Jan. 10, 2016
RUSTON – The Bank of Ruston Inside Tech Basketball radio show continues on Monday night at 6 p.m. at Scott’s Catfish on Hwy 33 in Ruston.
The Bulldogs came out on both sides of two nailbiting finishes in the Thomas Assembly Center. On Thursday, it was the wrong side as they had their 39-game home winning streak snapped in a three-point loss to Old Dominion.
The team rebounded two days later when it took overtime to take down Charlotte in another three-point margin game, 93-90.
The Lady Techsters also split their C-USA games, doing so from the road. The team won big, 69-51, at Old Dominion and then fell at Charlotte, 63-58, despite a furious rally late in the contest.
The one-hour radio show will air live on the LA Tech Sports Network on ESPN 97.7 FM. The show will feature a half hour segment with Summitt and the Voice of the Lady Techsters Malcolm Butler and a half hour segment with Konkol and the Voice of the Bulldogs Dave Nitz.
LA Tech fans are encouraged to come out to Scott’s Catfish, enjoy some great food and participate in the show.
The radio show can also be heard via the Internet by purchasing a subscription for LA Tech All-Access at LATechSports.com.
The remaining schedule for this year’s show includes: Jan. 18, Jan. 25, Feb. 1, Feb. 8, Feb. 15, Feb. 22, Feb. 29 and March 7.
