Catch Inside Tech Basketball on Monday Night
Jan. 25, 2016
RUSTON – The Bank of Ruston Inside Tech Basketball radio show returns on Monday night at 6 p.m. at Scott’s Catfish on Hwy 33 in Ruston.
The Bulldogs were able to snap a two-game losing skid with a 70-59 win at Southern Miss thanks in large part to a big bounce back game from Erik McCree who recorded his fifth double-double of the season with 25 points and 10 rebounds.
It marked the fifth straight win over the Golden Eagles, the longest winning streak in the series storied history, and it also marked the first time the ‘Dogs have won back-to-back games in Hattiesburg.
The Lady Techsters won in dominating fashion this past Saturday, throttling Southern Miss inside the Thomas Assembly Center by a score of 72-37. The team pulled down 24 offensive rebounds and forced a season-high 30 turnovers in the victory, avenging an earlier loss this season to the Golden Eagles.
Both teams will take on UTSA and UTEP this week as they are one-third of the way through league play.
The one-hour radio show will air live on the LA Tech Sports Network on ESPN 97.7 FM. The show will feature a half hour segment with Summitt and the Voice of the Lady Techsters Malcolm Butler and a half hour segment with Konkol and the Voice of the Bulldogs Dave Nitz.
LA Tech fans are encouraged to come out to Scott’s Catfish, enjoy some great food and participate in the show. The radio show can also be heard via the Internet by purchasing a subscription for LA Tech All-Access at LATechSports.com.
The remaining schedule for this year’s show includes: Feb. 1, Feb. 8, Feb. 15, Feb. 22, Feb. 29 and March 7.
