RUSTON -- Louisiana Tech (3-17; 0-8 WAC) will return to the Thomas Assembly Center Thursday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. to take on the Boise State Broncos (16-5; 7-2 WAC) in Western Athletic Conference action.

The Broncos and the Bulldogs have clashed once this season so far at Boise. A hot-shooting Bronco team downed Tech by a final score of 88-61. Boise State is currently second in the conference behind only Utah State which is one of the Broncos' two conference losses.

Tech and Boise have met 14 times in each program's history dating back to the 2001-02 season when the Bulldogs joined the WAC.

Last season, the Bulldogs and the Broncos split with Boise State taking the first win 82-56 in Idaho before the Bulldogs won in Ruston 84-76 later in the season. Before last year, Tech had a three-game winning streak against Boise State.

The Bulldogs are coming off a loss to Fresno State after rallying from a 27-point second half deficit to make it a closer game and lost 70-58. Boise State has a four-game winning streak dating to its Jan. 19 game with Nevada where the Broncos won 95-80.

Sophomore Kyle Gibson leads Tech scorers at 15.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. Reggie Larry leads Boise at 18.9 points per game.

Tech will remain home for two more games following the Boise game.

Tip off is set for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Cox Sports TV local channel 26 and ESPN 97.7 FM. The game will also be streamed live via the internet at www.espn977.com and www.latechtv.com.
