Inside Tech Basketball Continues Monday Night

RUSTON – The Bank of Ruston Inside Tech Basketball radio show continues on Monday night at 6 p.m. at Scott’s Catfish on Hwy 33 in Ruston.
The Bulldogs picked up a road split with a victory at Rice and a loss at North Texas, leaving them in a tie for fourth place in the league standings with eight games remaining. The team overcame an eight-point deficit midway through the second half to defeat the Owls this past Thursday night, 90-78.
Alex Hamilton tied his career high with 31 points in the game while also recording a game-high nine rebounds and five assists. He added 20 points two days later, but it was not enough as the ‘Dogs lost, 80-69, to the Mean Green.
The Lady Techsters continued their home dominance in league play with two victories in the TAC against Rice and North Texas. Both contests went down to the wire, but LA Tech was able to pull out a two-point and six-point wins to remain in fourth place in the conference standings.
Both teams have big matchups this weekend with games against Middle Tennessee and UAB.
The one-hour radio show will air live on the LA Tech Sports Network on ESPN 97.7 FM. The show will feature a half hour segment with Summitt and the Voice of the Lady Techsters Malcolm Butler and a half hour segment with Konkol and the Voice of the Bulldogs Dave Nitz.

The remaining schedule for this year’s show includes: Feb. 15, Feb. 22, Feb. 29 and March 7.
