RUSTON -- Louisiana Tech (9-15; 3-8 WAC) returns home Thursday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m. to take on the Fresno State Bulldogs (10-14; 2-7 WAC) in the Thomas Assembly Center.
Tech split a tough road swing last weekend by first beating Nevada 78-75 for the first time in six seasons and then playing a close game in the end with No. 17 ranked Utah State on Saturday.
"We're really wanting to get a good strong finish to this season," Tech head coach Kerry Rupp said. "Our guys have learned from these past few games we've played, and I think it's made us a better team. We want to go out there and get things done on and off the court for the rest of the year and finish this thing strong."
Fresno State most recently beat Boise State in the Save Mart Center Monday by a final score of 88-82. The Bulldogs have already played earlier this season with Fresno State coming out on top at home 63-46.
Fresno State leads the all-time series between the two Bulldog teams 11-7 and has beaten Louisiana Tech five straight times.
Junior Kyle Gibson leads Tech at 14.0 points per game, while Fresno is led by Paul George at 15.9 ppg.
The game will be broadcast live on KXKZ 107.5 FM locally with a live audio feed also available at www.z1075fm.com.
