Inside Tech Basketball Airs Monday

RUSTON – The Bank of Ruston Inside Tech Basketball radio show airs on Monday night at 6 p.m. at Scott’s Catfish on Hwy 33 in Ruston.
The Bulldogs remains in fourth place in the league standings after splitting their road games, winning at UTSA on Thursday and falling at UTEP on Saturday.
Alex Hamilton averaged 23.5 points per game in the two contests while shooting a blistering 69 percent from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc.
After scoring 22 points against the Miners, the senior moved into fifth place on the all-time career scoring list, passing Gerrod Henderson (1998-02). He now has 1,836 career points.
The Lady Techsters had the same result at home, defeating the Roadrunners and having a late rally come up short against the Miners. The team is now tied for fifth in the standings with Old Dominion.
Brandi Wingate averaged 22.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game for the week.
The one-hour radio show will air live on the LA Tech Sports Network on ESPN 97.7 FM. The show will feature a half hour segment with Summitt and the Voice of the Lady Techsters Malcolm Butler and a half hour segment with Konkol and the Voice of the Bulldogs Dave Nitz.
