Inside Tech Basketball Returns Monday Night

RUSTON – The Bank of Ruston Inside Tech Basketball radio show returns on Monday night at 6 p.m. at Scott’s Catfish on Hwy 33 in Ruston.
The Bulldogs moved into a three-way tie for second place in the league standings after sweeping the final two home games versus North Texas and Rice.
On Thursday, the ‘Dogs were down by two to the Mean Green with 20 seconds to go but were able to force overtime on a game-tying layup by Alex Hamilton. The team then opened the extra period on a 10-0 run and never looked back in a 73-62 victory.
It was an historic night on Saturday in the TAC with senior Hamilton registering the third triple-double in program history (25 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists) in an 88-69 victory over the Owls.
The Lady Techsters split their Texas road trip and remain in fifth place in the league standings.
Senior Brooke Pumroy registered 21 points in a 78-67 come-from-behind victory at North Texas on Thursday. She followed that up with a career-high 27 points at Rice two days later, but the Techsters fell 84-77 at Rice.
The one-hour radio show will air live on the LA Tech Sports Network on ESPN 97.7 FM. The show will feature a half hour segment with Summitt and the Voice of the Lady Techsters Malcolm Butler and a half hour segment with Konkol and the Voice of the Bulldogs Dave Nitz.

There will only be one more radio show after this one this year which will be on March 7.
