Berhe, Felder Dismissed from Bulldog Basketball Team

March 3, 2010

RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech head men's basketball coach Kerry Rupp has announced that Yonas Behre and Trey Felder have been released from their scholarships at this time.

"High expectations are placed on our student-athletes and this decision is based on a series of events," Rupp said. "This is always a tough decision for a coach and we wish Yonas and Trey the very best in the future."

Berhe, a sophomore guard from Toronto, Ontario, has appeared in 18 games for the Bulldogs and averaged 0.8 points a game and 0.7 rebounds. Felder, a freshman guard from Jackson, Miss, redshirted the 2009-10 season.
