RUSTON -- The future of Louisiana Tech men's basketball looks brighter after head coach Kerry Rupp and company announced that 6'10" Shawn Oliverson has joined the Bulldog basketball squad and will begin play in the 2008-09 season.
"Shawn speaks to everything that we're about at Louisiana Tech," head coach Kerry Rupp said. "He's the complete package. He's a good kid, a good student and a hard worker on and off the basketball court. In such as short time that he's been here, he has already bought into our program and I'm sure he will be a fine addition to Bulldog basketball."
