RUSTON -- The 2017 Eric Konkol Basketball Camps have been set for the summer with camps available from June through August and for campers entering grades kindergarten all the way through high school.

There will be three individual camps -- Youth Day Camp, Junior Bulldog Camp and High School Elite Camp -- with two sessions each.

The Day Camp will be Monday through Friday on June 12-15 and July 31-Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily for boys entering second grade through 10th grade. This camp focuses on the basic offensive and defensive fundamentals in a week-long setting.

The cost is $200 and will provide campers the opportunity to improve their skills through drills, competition, league play and guest lectures.

The Junior Bulldog Camp will be held Monday through Wednesday on June 19-21 and July 10-12 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily for boys entering kindergarten through sixth grade. This three-day mini-camp is designed for the younger Bulldog fans to learn and develop their fundamentals.

The cost is $125 with each session allowing campers to participate in drills, competitions and games to improve their skill level.

Campers from either camp will have photo and autograph sessions with available Bulldog players. Registration also includes a camp t-shirt and camp ball.

The High School Elite Camp will take place on June 11 and Aug. 5 from 1-5 p.m. at a cost of $40 per camper for boys entering grades nine through 12th. These one-day camps offer high school players the chance to compete against other high-level players from the region. Individual work, drill work and 5-on-5 competition will be an integral part of the experience.

The Bulldog Basketball staff will also be conducting a High School Team Camp on June 9-10. Large varsity, small varsity, junior varsity and freshman divisions will be made for programs to have a chance to compete in structured games against other teams from the region. The cost is $350 per team for both days (five games) and $225 per team for one day (three games).

The camps are open to any and all participants but space is limited and is filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Participants can register online at www.erickonkolcamps.com. For special camp information, discounts or questions, please contact the camp director Andy Fox at afox@latech.edu.
