RUSTON -- Louisiana Tech's Kyle Gibson can add another accolade to the wall after a stellar season as the sophomore was named to the Louisiana Sports Writer Association's All-Louisiana Second Team announced Saturday night.
Gibson was Tech's leading scorer for the season and averaged 16.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. He was the only underclassman in the Top 10 scorers in the WAC for a majority of the year.
Gibson also scored 20 or more points nine times this past season and had two double-double early in the year. He finished the regular season finale with a career-high 28 points in a win over San Jose State at home.
