ASN to Televise Six Bulldog Basketball Games

RUSTON -- The American Sports Network (ASN) has announced it will carry six Louisiana Tech men's basketball games during the 2015-16 season.
The announcement brings the total number of televised games to 14 for the Bulldogs with 13 of those being broadcast on a cable TV network and the Dec. 22 matchup at Florida Gulf Coast being available on ESPN3.com.
Two of the games carried by ASN come in non-conference with LA Tech hosting Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 12 p.m., as well as the matchup versus Prairie View A&M on Dec. 28 at 6 p.m.
The remaining four televised games will be Conference USA matchups, one at home and three on the road.
Jan. 23 at Southern Miss, Feb. 6 at North Texas, Feb. 11 vs. Middle Tennessee and March 3 at Marshall will all be televised by ASN.
The American Sports Network will also carry the first three rounds of the 2016 C-USA Men's Basketball Championship that begins March 8 in Birmingham, Alabama.
ASN is an initiative of the Sinclair Networks Group, LLC, which owns and operates, programs and provides sales services to 164 television stations in 79 markets, reaching approximately 43 million U.S. television households. It includes FOX, ABC, CBS, MyTV, CW, NBC, Univision and Azteca affiliates. ASN, which launched in August 2014, produced 250 college events in nine sports in its first year and plans to air more than 375 events in the 2015-16 academic year.
Additional TV games remain a possibility and will be announced when finalized.
