Bulldogs Looking to Bounce Back at McNeese

LAKE CHARLES, La. -- The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (0-3) will return to the road Wednesday and take on the McNeese Cowboys (1-3) in a non-conference match-up beginning at 7 p.m.

The Bulldogs competed in the 2006 Shelby Metcalf Classic in College Station, Texas, this past weekend and played St. Louis, Texas A&M and Lamar in three straight days. Senior guard Marcus Elliot led the Bulldogs by averaging 12.3 points per game and was named to the All-Tournament team. Senior Chad McKenzie came away from the tourney averaging 10.3 ppg.

The Cowboys picked up their first win of the 2006 season with an 89-60 victory over Louisiana College Nov. 18 and is led in scoring by Jarvis Bradley with 13.5 points per game.

The game will be broadcast live by Dave Nitz and Jack Thigpen on FM Z107.5 with pregame show beginning at 6:30 p.m.
