RUSTON – Louisiana Tech will be honoring two very special teams on back-to-back weekends in January as the Athletic Department is holding Legends Day for both the Bulldog and Lady Techster basketball programs.

On Saturday, Jan. 14 the Lady Techsters will host Old Dominion at 1 p.m. at the Thomas Assembly Center for its women’s basketball Legends Day. Every former player, coach and support staff member from the Lady Techster program is invited to return that weekend and participate in the festivities surrounding the game.

As part of the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the very first NCAA national championship on the women’s side, the NCAA designed produced rings that will be presented to the players and coaches at halftime.

A private reception will be held starting at 11:30 a.m. in the Waggonner Room of the Thomas Assembly Center for all former players, coaches and support staff members and their families. Immediately following the game, the Lady Techster Tipoff Club will host a Hospitality Reception in the Waggonner Room for all members of the Tip-Off Club, current team and coaches as well as the Legends.
