2016-17: Was a pitcher for the Louisiana Tech Baseball program for two seasons after transferring from Hill College ... In 2016, he helped lead LA Tech to the program's first NCAA regional appearance since 1987 after compiling a 4-1 record over 58.2 innings with 57 strikeouts and a 3.38 ERA ... Held nationally-ranked Cal State Fullerton to just two runs over six innings in the NCAA Tournament to propel LA Tech to the regional finals against Mississippi State ... In 2017, he posted a 3.88 ERA in 20 appearances with 11 starts on the mound, while compiling a 3-2 record with 41 strikeouts in 58 innings pitched.
2014-15 (Hill College): Made 30 appearances on the mound for the Rebels in two seasons ... Started nine games for Hill as both a freshman and sophomore while pitching over 50 innings both years ... Struck out 34 in 13 appearances in his rookie season before returning as a sophomore to punch out 50 batters he faced in 17 appearances on the bump.
High School: Graduated from Kingwood Park High School in 2013 ... Lettered in football, baseball and basketball ... Earned first team all-district and honorable mention honors, while earning playing time as a wide receiver, long snapper and quarterback ... Member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) ... Coached by Jim Holley.
