2012 First Team All-WAC

2012: A First Team All-WAC honoree that recorded 58 total tackles (38 solo, 20 assisted) on the year with 3.5 tackles for a loss of 210 yards, one interception returned for 25 yards, seven pass break-ups and one fumble recovery ... Recorded six total tackles (four solo, two assisted) in the season-opening 56-49 win at Houston (9/8) ... Was credited with four total tackles (three solo, one assisted) and recovered his first career fumble in Tech's 56-37 win over Rice (9/15) ... Registered two total tackles (one solo, one assisted) at Illinois (9/22) with his solo tackle coming for a loss of three yards ... Recorded six total tackles, one pass break-up and reteurned an interception 25 yards to set up a touchdown in a 44-38 win at Virginia (9/29) ... Registered a career-best nine total tackles (two solo, seven assisted) and was credited with a pass break-up against UNLV (10/6) ... Recorded six total tackles (four solo, two assisted) in a 59-57 loss against No. 22 Texas A&M (10/13) ... Made four total tackles (two solo, two assisted) whiel matching a career-high two pass break-ups in a 70-28 win over Idaho (10/20) ... Recorded three solo tackles at New Mexico State (10/27) ... Recorded two solo tackles at Southern Miss (9/3) while intercepting a pass and returning it three yards and breaking up a pass ... Intercepted a pass off Heisman Trophy candidate Case Keenum with a career-long 25 yard return while making two tackles in a 35-34 loss to Houston (9/17) ... Recorded a career-high two pass break-ups while making three solo tackles in a 27-7 win at Ole Miss (11/12) ... Recorded six total tackles in Tech's 24-20 win at Nevada (11/19) ... Recorded five total tackles and forced a fumble en route to a 44-0 rout of New Mexico State (11/26) ... Made two solo tackles against No. 15 TCU (12/21) in the Poinsettia Bowl.

While he was a two-star athlete out of high school, Rivals.com made him a four-star athlete out of JuCo ... Played in nine games, recording 27 tackles, two interceptions and forced one fumble ...
