Ryan Fournier

Ryan Fournier joins the Louisiana Tech staff as a defensive graduate assistant for the 2008 season. He comes to Tech after serving as an assistant football and baseball coach at his alma mater South Lafourche High School for two years.

While at South Lafourche, Fournier coached the offensive line. Following his time at South Lafourche, he coached at Central Gwinett High School outside of Atlanta. Fournier coached the varsity offensive line and was the offensive coordinator for the freshman team.

Fournier played four years at Southeastern Louisiana, two under current New Mexico State head coach Hal Mumme. He earned the team's Iron Man Award his senior season and graduated with a bachelor degree in general studies in 2006.

Playing at South Lafourche, Fournier received all-district and all-bayou honors as well as played in the Lafourche/Terrebonne Parrish All-Star game.
