2016: Redshirted after he was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin lymphoma in early October of 2016 ... Endured four months of chemotherapy treatments and radiation at St. Jude's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, before learning he was cancer-free on Feb. 9, 2017 ... Officially returned to the field during spring practice in April 2017.

2015: Saw action in all 13 games, totaling 17 kickoff returns for 296 yards with a long of 47 yards ... Also recorded five total tackles (three solo, two assisted) on punt coverage ... Totaled 103 all-purpose yards in his first collegiate appearance against Southern (9/5) with two rushing yards, 30 receiving and 71 kick return yards ... Recorded 27 all-purpose yards on two kick returns against WKU (9/10) ... Returned one kickoff for 13 yards against Kansas State (9/19) ... Assisted on a tackle against FIU (9/26) ... Returned a kickoff for 17 yards against ULL (10/3) ... Returned four kickoffs for 76 yards against UTSA (10/10) ... Returned a career-high five kicks for 58 yards against Mississippi State (10/17) ... Returned two kickoffs for 34 yards against Middle Tennessee (10/24) ... Recorded a solo tackle against North Texas (11/7) ... Registered one solo tackle versus Arkansas State (12/19) in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.
