Ben Larson is in his third year with the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and this year will be serving as the graduate assistant in charge of football operations.
Larson spent the past two years serving as a graduate assistant helping with the Bulldog special teams units and tight ends.
Before coming to Tech, Larson served as an assistant director of sports performance and volunteer assistant running backs coach at Northwestern State. Larson began working for the Demons program in 2006 and was promoted to interim director of sports performance in April 2007 before coming to Tech.
Larson also worked as a strength and conditioning volunteer assistant with the University of South Florida monitoring the implementation of strength and conditioning programs primarily with football. During his time at USF, he also worked with the New York Yankees at their spring training facility in Tampa, Fla.
Larson earned his bachelor's degree in communications from Susquehanna University in 2005 where he played both offensive and defensive line for four years. He is working on a Master's in psychology from Louisiana Tech.
