Jacob Peeler

Jacob Peeler enters his third season as an intern in the Louisiana Tech strength and conditioning department under coach Damon Harrington.

Peeler returned to his alma mater after a short stint as the offensive line coach at Independence Community College in Kansas.

Prior to his time at Independence CC, Peeler served as the assistant offensive line coach at Itawamba Community College.

During his junior college playing career, Peeler played every offensive snap during his two years at Holmes Community College in 2002 and 2003 where he earned first team all-state and first team all-NJCAA Region 23 honors as well as All-American accolades.

After signing with LA Tech and redshirting in 2004, Peeler saw action in four games as a junior before starting all 13 games at center during his senior season helping pave the way for more than 4,000 offensive yards. He also earned Academic all-WAC honors.

Peeler earned his bachelor's degree in education from Louisiana Tech in 2006 and his master's in kinesiology from Mississippi State in 2008.
