2015: After battling an injury throughout the season, catching just one pass for five yards against Southern, Smith returned to the field and made his presence immediately felt in postseason play ... In just his third game of the season, Smith caught just three passes, but totaled 40 yards, including a 21 yard reception against Arkansas State (12/19) in the R + L Carrier's New Orleans Bowl.
2013: Played in eight games ... Assisted on a tackle at UTEP (10/5) ... Caught a nine-yard pass at Rice (11/16).
2012: Redshirted 2012 season, did not play ... Member of the scout squad.
High School: Graduated from Fontainebleau High School in 2012 ... Received three letters in football, baseball, track and golf ... Named Academic All-State and a 2012 All-State Sugar Bowl Scholar Athlete ... Was team captain his senior year ... Was also a state qualifier and regional runner-up in the javelin.
