RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech officials announced Tuesday that the school has added Kansas State to its 2015 non-conference football schedule.
The game, which will be held on Sept. 19 at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kan., will be the fourth meeting between the two schools. Kansas State has a 2-1 lead in the all-time series with wins in 2000 and 2001 but the Bulldogs claimed the first meeting between the two schools in 1988 with a 31-28 victory. That year marked Louisiana Tech's final year as a Division I-AA (now FCS) member but the Bulldogs played a Division I-A (FBS) schedule that season, despite the scholarship deficit.
Also on tap for the 2015 schedule includes previously scheduled games at Mississippi State (Sept. 12) and against Louisiana-Lafayette (Oct. 3).
The 2015 schedule for Louisiana Tech will include four non-conference games and eight Conference USA games.
LA Tech fans are reminded that all games, dates and times for the 2015 schedule are subject to change.
