T-Day Spring Game Set For April 11

RUSTON -- Louisiana Tech fans will get an opportunity to see the 2008 Independence Bowl champion Bulldogs during the T-Day Spring Game April 11 at 1 p.m. at Joe Aillet Stadium.
The Bulldogs annual intra-squad scrimmage is free and will be culminate spring practice as head coach Derek Dooley and Co. prepare for the upcoming 2009 season.
It will also be the only opportunity for Tech fans to see the Bulldogs this spring as all LA Tech practices and scrimmages are closed to the public.
A number of events and promotions will surround the T-Day Spring Game including a Kids Zone which will be set up in the southwest corner of the stadium on the hill by the fieldhouse.
Parents can drop their kids off at the area which will include inflatables, moonwalk, face-painting, games and more.
Tech XX and CHAMP will also be on hand as well.
All current members of LTAC and the Alumni Association are invited to attend a free pre-game barbeque at the Argent Pavilion starting at 11 a.m. Anyone interested must RSVP to Barbara Swart at 318-255-7950 by April 7.
All former letterwinners are invited to a free barbecue which will be held pre-game under a tent in the north endzone starting at 11 a.m. Any former letterwinners who is interested should RSVP to Adam McGuirt at 318-255-7950 by April 9.
Members of the Lady Techster softball team will be on hand to take donations as part of their fundraiser for DART, which will include a charity softball game that same at 3 p.m. against Fresno State.
Tech fans are also encouraged to stop by the "Donate Life Louisiana" booth under the stadium to register to help save lives.
Concessions will be available at the game.
