Louisiana Tech-Tulane Game Moved to Thursday, Sept. 12 for TV

IRVING, Texas - Conference USA announced Wednesday that Louisiana Tech's 2013 league game against Tulane has been moved to Thursday, Sept. 12 to accommodate a national television broadcast. The game time and network will be announced at a later date.
The match-up between the Bulldogs and the Green Wave will mark Louisiana Tech's first league game as a member of Conference USA. The school will officially make the move to C-USA in all sports on July 1, 2013.
Both Louisiana Tech and Tulane have home games on the preceding Saturday giving both teams equal preparation time for the Thursday contest.
Additional date changes to accommodate television do remain a possibility and details of such games will be announced as soon as possible.
Conference USA's 17th football season will begin on Thursday, Aug. 29 with Louisiana Tech opening its first season in C-USA on Saturday, Aug. 31 at North Carolina State. The league's ninth annual football championship game is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7.
