Dawg Days of Spring 2004 Planned

RUSTON - The Louisiana Tech Athletic Department announced its plans for its Dawg Days of Spring 2004 weekend set for April 24, which will include a number of sporting events on the university campus.

Dawg Days of Spring 2004 will start Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. with a Western Athletic Conference softball doubleheader between Louisiana Tech and Tulsa at the Lady Techster Softball Complex.

Later that afternoon the Bulldog baseball team will host defending national champion Rice at 3 p.m. in a single game at J.C. Love Field.

Finally, Dawg Days of Spring 2004 will culminate at Joe Aillet Stadium at 6 p.m. with the Bone Bowl II, Louisiana Tech's annual intra-squad football game that marks the end of spring practice for head coach Jack Bicknell and Co.

Dawg Days of Spring 2004 t-shirts will be sold at all three events during the day (while supplies last). Louisiana Tech fans can also purchase crawfish starting at 5 p.m. at Joe Aillet Stadium while the Tech Team Shop will also have a sale at its location under the stadium during the football game.
