RUSTON - Single game tickets for only Louisiana Tech students are on sale for the Bulldogs season opener against Texas A&M set for Aug. 30 at Independence Stadium in Shreveport.

The defending Western Athletic Conference Bulldogs will host this historic game against Texas A&M in the Aggies inaugural contest as a member of the Southeastern Conference.

Kickoff time has not yet been set for the Thursday night game that will be televised nationally by the ESPN Networks.

Tech students with a current university ID can purchase up to two (2) tickets per ID for only $10 per ticket (this is more than a 50 percent discount of the normal price of these tickets). To order tickets for the Texas A&M game, students should visit the LA Tech Ticket Office located in the Thomas Assembly Center or call (318) 257-3631.

Tickets must be picked up from the LA Tech Ticket Office from August 1st through August 29th. Tickets can also be picked up at the Independence Stadium Box Office located on the northeast corner of the stadium beginning five hours prior to kickoff on game-day. Student ID's must be presented upon retrieval of tickets. Limited seating is available. Groups wishing to be seated together must alert the ticket office in a timely fashion to ensure seating arrangements.
