RUSTON - With the 2012-13 athletic season coming to a close, the Louisiana Tech sports programs are gearing up to hold numerous camps throughout the summer.
Kids of all ages will meet on the LA Tech fields and courts to work with the Bulldog and Lady Techster coaching staffs on developing their skills and fundamentals, all while having plenty of fun in the process.
MEN'S BASKETBALL The Michael White Basketball Camps will run June 3-6 as the first Day Camp and June 24-27 as the second Day Camp for boys in grades 4-12.
The second type of camp will be a Junior Bulldog Camp that runs from July 15-17 for boys in grades K-6.
The cost of the Day Camp is $200 per camp session. Campers can sign up for both Day Camps for a Bulldog discount of $350 total. The cost of the Junior Camp is $100 for the camp session.
A team camp will also be held June 7-8 for boys' high school teams.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL The Spoon-Fed Basketball Camps will feature a Day Camp from June 10-11 for girls grades K-5 with a cost of $100 per camper.
A Position Camp will run from June 21-23 for girls grades 6-12 for a cost of $175 per camper.
Also, a Team Camp is set for June 14-16 for Middle and High School - junior varsity and varsity - and AAU teams. Cost for the camp is $180 for three games, $300 for five games and $450 for eight games.

SOFTBALL Two types of Softball Camps are scheduled for the month of June at the Lady Techster Softball Complex.
A Senior Camp is schedule for June 11-13 for girls ages 13-18 for a cost of $260 for commuters and $325 for overnighters.

SOCCER The Louisiana Tech soccer staff will be hosting a Spring College Prep Camp on May 25th for any and all female players in grades 8-12 at the Lady Techster Soccer Complex.
The one-day camp is $105. The price already includes a camp T-shirt.

TENNIS Head Tennis Coach Freddy Gomez will be hosting developmental tennis clinics for junior players throughout the summer at the LA Tech Tennis Complex for all level players ages 8-18.
Sessions available are 4 days a week and 1-3 hours per session.

VOLLEYBALL Two different types of camps will be offered by the LA Tech Volleyball staff in June and July.
A Youth Camp will run June 12-13 and July 26-27 for boys and girls grades 4-8 with the cost being $45 per session.
An All Skills Camp will take place June 17-18 for boys and girls grades 9-12 for $95, and a Skills Camp 2 is set for July 26-27 for the same age group with a cost of $85.

BASEBALL Louisiana Tech baseball will host its annual Top Dawg camps for youth and high school players.
The Summer Youth Camp runs from June 24-26 for campers grades 1-7 with a cost of $150.
The High School Showcase Camp is set for July 29-31. The full day cost is $325 and the overnight cost is $400.

FOOTBALL LA Tech Football will be conducting a variety of camps throughout Louisiana.
Camp season will start with two High School Satellite Camps in New Orleans on June 6th at Tad Gormley Stadium and in Baton Rouge on June 7th at the Louisiana Leadership Institute. The cost for each camp is $25.
The coaches will then head back to Ruston and Joe Aillet Stadium to host a Youth Camp on June 8th with a cost of $40, as well as two different sessions of their High School Camp on June 9th and July 21st for $25 per session.
Two High School Passing Camps will take place on June 15th and July 20th with a cost of $400 per team ($20/player, $20/additional players over 20).
Lastly, there will be a Kicking Camp on July 22nd for a cost of $75.
