Additional TV Selections, Times Set for LA Tech Football

RUSTON, La. - Conference USA officials announced on Wednesday its preliminary television schedule for the 2017 football season, which includes two of Louisiana Tech’s seven home football games in 2017 that will be nationally televised this fall on CBS Sports Network and ESPN networks.
It was announced in April that Louisiana Tech will host SEC foe Mississippi State on Saturday, Sept. 9 at Joe Aillet Stadium in a game that will be broadcast live at 6:30 p.m. CT on CBS Sports Network. The Bulldogs’ final regular season matchup of the campaign versus UTSA on Nov. 25 in Ruston will also be shown nationally on either ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU with exact network and kickoff time to be decided 12 days out from the game.
Additionally, the league announced Louisiana Tech will have three games which will air on STADIUM, a new, fully programmed, 24/7 multi-platform sports network which was formed when Campus Insiders, 120 Sports and The American Sports Network combined forces.
LA Tech’s conference opener on the road at WKU will air on Stadium and is slated for a 6 p.m. CT kickoff on Sept. 16 in Bowling Green. On Oct. 21, the Bulldogs will return from their bye week to host C-USA foe Southern Miss in a game that will also be broadcast on Stadium at 6 p.m. CT at Joe Aillet Stadium. In the second week of November, LA Tech will play host to the Florida Atlantic Owls in a game that will air on Stadium at 2:30 p.m. CT on Nov. 11 in Ruston.
The 2017 C-USA Championship game on Saturday, Dec. 2 is scheduled to air on either ESPN or ESPN 2. It marks the 13th-straight year that the C-USA Championship will air on the ESPN Networks. ESPN is also scheduled to carry all six of C-USA’s bowl games in which it has a guaranteed selection.
Additional Conference USA football television exposures will be released as soon as they are finalized.
Louisiana Tech fans can now purchase season tickets for the upcoming 2017 football season as the Bulldogs coming off three consecutive nine-win seasons, three straight bowl victories and one of the most impressive home slates on the horizon next fall with a program-record seven home games at Joe Aillet Stadium.
