C-USA Announces Additional TV Selections, Times for LA Tech Football

RUSTON, La. - Conference USA has announced its broadcast schedule for the upcoming football season, which includes 10 of Louisiana Tech’s regular season games for the 2018 campaign.
The current confirmed schedule features games to air nationally by all five of the league’s primary partners and every C-USA football game is expected to be available on traditional linear television or via streaming and social media.
CBS Sports Network kicks off the selection process of nationally broadcast games, followed by Stadium, beIN SPORTS, Facebook and ESPN Networks. The majority of these exposures will take place on Saturday, with select Thursday and Friday night telecasts also being featured. Throughout the 2018 season, every game in a C-USA stadium will be available through its partners and road games will be available via FOX, FS1, FSN, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ACC RSN, the SEC Network and ESPN+.
Last week, it was announced that a pair of Louisiana Tech’s football games will be nationally televised this fall on CBS Sports Network. LA Tech will travel to Boca Raton, Florida, on Friday, Oct. 26 to face off against Florida Atlantic at 5:30 p.m. CT in a game that will be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network, while the Bulldogs’ regular-season finale versus WKU will also be shown nationally on CBS Sports Network with kickoff set for 11 a.m. CT on Nov. 24 at Joe Aillet Stadium in Ruston.
Additionally, the league announced Louisiana Tech will have two games that will air on Stadium and another on beIN SPORTS this fall. The Bulldogs will open conference play at North Texas on Sept. 29 in a game that will air on beIN and kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT in Denton, Texas. The following week, LA Tech will host UAB at 6 p.m. CT at Joe Aillet Stadium with the game set to air on Stadium (Facebook). The Bulldogs’ Nov. 17 home contest versus Southern Miss will also be broadcast on Stadium with kickoff set for 2:30 p.m. CT in Ruston.
Five additional kickoff times have been set for the 2018 season, beginning with the season opener at South Alabama on Sept. 1, which is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT and set to air on ESPN+, from Mobile, Alabama. LA Tech’s home opener is slated for Sept. 8 when the Bulldogs host Southern at 6 p.m. on ESPN+, while three more games will also air on ESPN+ this season, including a road game at UTSA (Oct. 13) and home contests versus UTEP (Oct. 20) and Rice (Nov. 10).
The 2018 C-USA Championship game on Saturday, Dec. 1 will air on CBS Sports Network at a time to be determined.
ESPN is scheduled to carry all six of C-USA’s bowl games in which it has a guaranteed selection.
Additional Conference USA football broadcast exposures will be released as soon as they are finalized.
