Tech Football Tickets on Sale
RUSTON - Tickets for all five of Louisiana Tech's home football games are currently on sale at the Tech Ticket Office located at the Thomas Assembly Center.
The Bulldogs 2003 home slate is the best ever as Tech hosts five-time national champion Miami, defending Western Athletic Conference champion Boise State, pass-happy Timmy Chang and Hawaii, I-20 rival SMU and the Rice Owls.
A nationally-televised opener against Miami at Independence Stadium in Shreveport Aug. 28 will kick off the 2003 season as ESPN will send it's A-Team of Mike Tirico, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit to broadcast the game.
Three of the top quarterbacks in the country will be on display in Tech's next two home games as the Bulldogs Luke McCown, Hawaii's Chang and Boise State's Ryan Dinwiddie lead prolific offenses into Joe Aillet Stadium. Tech hosts Boise State Oct. 4 and then hosts Hawaii's run and shoot offense for homecoming Oct. 18.
The Bulldogs then play host to the SMU Mustangs Nov. 8 as Phil Bennett's squad looks to make it two wins in a row against Tech. The final regular season game of the year pits Tech against Rice Nov. 29 in Ruston as legendary head coach Ken Hatfield brings his spread option attack to Joe Aillet.
A variety of season ticket packages are being offered by the Tech Athletic Department as well as single game tickets. For more information or to order season tickets, call 318-257-3631.
