SHREVEPORT-BOSSIER CITY -- Head coach Skip Holtz and the Louisiana Tech Bulldog football team will participate in an open practice and meet-n-greet at Independence Stadium on Friday, Aug. 15.
The event is free and open to the public as all Louisiana Tech fans are encouraged to attend.
Practice is scheduled to run from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. as fans can view from the stadium bleachers (access to the field will not be allowed). Immediately following practice, the Bulldog coaches and players will be available for an autograph session which will be located under the concourse on the south end of Independence Stadium. Fans are reminded that they are limited to one autograph item per person.
Schedule posters, schedule cards and other material will be handed out while supplies last while fans can also purchase their season tickets or single game tickets during the event. Fans can sign up their youngsters for the LA Tech Kids Club during the event.
Louisiana Tech opens the season on Aug. 30 at Oklahoma while the Bulldogs home opener is Sept. 20 against Northwestern State. The Tech Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
