RUSTON, La. - Over 750 Louisiana Tech fans came out to Joe Aillet Stadium Sunday afternoon as the Bulldogs held the first of two fan autograph and meet-and-greet sessions of fall camp.
Fans filed through the west concourse of Joe Aillet Stadium anxious to meet their favorite players and gather autographs on promotional items being handed out or on Bulldog memorabilia of their own.
The fan meet-and-greet session came after the school's annual photo day.
The University will replicate the meet-and-greet and autograph session on Saturday, Aug. 18 in the Club Level of Shreveport's Independence Stadium. The team will hold an open practice at 6 p.m. with fans able to watch from the Club Level and then the players will sign autographs and meet fans at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday was the team's first day off from actual practice since beginning fall camp on Aug. 3. The Bulldogs return to the gridiron on Monday with a 6 p.m. session. All practices next week have been moved to 6 p.m.
Louisiana Tech opens its season Aug. 30 in a historic matchup against SEC foe Texas A&M at Shreveport's Independence Stadium at 6:30 p.m. Season tickets as well as individual game tickets can be purchased by calling 318-257-3631, emailing email@example.com or by logging onto www.LATechsports.com.
