SportsWest to Produce Two Tech Games
RUSTON - Louisiana Tech's home game against Boise State and road contest at Idaho are both part of the Western Athletic Conference's television package with SportsWest for the 2005 season.
The schedule includes seven WAC contests featuring eight of the nine teams in the conference. The games will be available in the markets of the two competing teams and are also usually picked up by ESPN's GamePlan, a pay-per-view package available on most cable and satellite systems around the nation.
A decision has not yet been finalized as to which area network will pick up the two Tech games but a final decision should be forthcoming soon.
This marks the third year that the WAC and SportsWest have partnered
together to get more of the conference's games on television. Coupled with its ESPN/ABC schedule and other non-WAC packages, nearly half of the WAC's games will be on national or regional television this season. The rest of the games are now available to the local stations in the markets of the teams in the WAC.
