Pay-Per-View Details Announced for @LATechFB at Oklahoma
Aug. 15, 2014
NORMAN, Okla. - FOX Sports Oklahoma has announced the participating cable and satellite providers that will carry the pay-per-view broadcast of Louisiana Tech's season opener at Oklahoma on Saturday, Aug. 30.
The game is being televised on a pay-per-view basis because it wasn't selected for over-the-air broadcast or cable television coverage. Pay-per-view allows fans the option to watch a game they otherwise wouldn't be able to see. It will be available on a dedicated pay-per-view channel on participating Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas program providers, and nationwide via participating satellite and Telco distributors.
Ron Thulin, Dave Lapham and Chad McKee (sidelines) will call the game, with coverage beginning at 5 p.m. CT with the Sooner Sports Gameday pregame show. Following the contest, Sooner Sports Overtime will have complete postgame analysis, along with live press conferences featuring OU coaches and players.
Viewers outside the state of Oklahoma (based on IP address) that don't have the pay-per-view broadcast available through their cable or satellite provider can purchase a live stream of the broadcast on SoonerSports.tv. The online pay-per-view price is $54.99, or can be paired with an annual subscription for $109.99. This PPV is not included in other SoonerSports.tv packages and must be purchased separately to access the Louisiana Tech game. iPhone, iPad and Android users will need to download the SoonerSports2Go app to view the live stream on their mobile device.
