RUSTON - Louisiana Tech and LSU announced Tuesday that the two programs have signed a contract to play at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge in 2009.

The addition of the LSU game gives Tech three non-conference games on its slate, including a return trip to Starkville to face Mississippi State and a trip to Annapolis, Maryland to face the U.S. Naval Academy.

Tech will venture to Tiger Stadium on Nov. 14, marking the third time in the last six years that the two programs have met in Baton Rouge. The previous two times the Bulldogs faced the Tigers (2003, 2007), LSU went on to win the national championship title.

LSU leads the all-time series against Louisiana Tech 17-1.

The Bulldogs Western Athletic Conference schedule for next year has not been released by the league office yet.
